Police warn trespassers who damaged gates to access artificial pitch in Congleton

Officers have received reports of residents accessing the artificial pitch at Eaton Bank Academy by "bending" the gates.

A Congleton Police spokesperson said: "They have gained access by bending the gates to the pitch, this counts as criminal damage to the gates and trespassing as it is on private property.

"We'll continue to patrol the area."
