Plans for a new eight-bedroom HMO in Congleton have been withdrawn before a decision could be made by Cheshire East Council.

The Yu Group previously applied for a "change of use to the first floor only from office and restaurant to residential HMO" at The Huub Building on Manchester Road.

The HMO would have had eight bedrooms and no changes to parking facilities were proposed.

A Design and Access Statement said: "All bedrooms have windows, a large kitchen is provided for the tenants use and full sanitary facilities are provided in accordance with HMO requirements."

Cheshire East Council's decision target date was today (2 August) but the plans were withdrawn by the applicant on 29 July, meaning no further action will be taken.
