NHS staff run, walk and climb to raise money for hospital services

NHS staff have been walking, running and climbing for charity.
Colleagues from across East Cheshire NHS Trust came together last weekend to participate in a series of fundraising events.
From scaling Snowdown to running through the streets of Manchester, staff helped to raise money and awareness for the East Cheshire NHS Charity.
Lily Preston, fundraising and events manager, said: "Last weekend has been a testament to the incredible spirit and dedication of our staff.
"Their commitment to supporting our local NHS charity through these physical challenges has been truly inspiring and we are immensely proud of their efforts and the positive impact they've made in our community."

On Saturday night (May 17), the trust's community services team embarked on a night hike up Snowdon.
Then, on Sunday (May 18), deputy chief people officer Jake Mairs and colleagues were pushed to their limit as they took on the AJ Bell Great Manchester Run 10k.
Elsewhere, Ward 9 completed a sponsored walk around Carsington Water, with the cardia rehab team also completing a sponsored walk.
Funds raised will help make a visible difference to services at Macclesfield District General Hospital, Knutsford Community Hospital and Congleton War Memorial Hospital.
