Most Haunted star Richard Felix investigates a modern day Congleton haunting

By Guest 29th Oct 2020

A Halloween haunting in Congleton has captured the attention of world-famous paranormal investigator Richard Felix.

Richard who is well known for being the historian on televisions Most Haunted for over 120 episodes, appears as a guest on Canalside Radio 102.8 FM this weekend.

Richard will be talking about what he believes ghosts are, which he also covers in his latest book, What Is A Ghost. He will also be discussing his interest in a brand new and very local haunting.

A local man received a picture which had resided in a room in the town which was reputed for being haunted.

Not believing in such things he proudly displayed the picture in his home and that's when things began to get weird.

At first both he and his partner began to feel a sense of foreboding and experienced spates of bad luck.

Various appliances in the house broke within days of each other, there were health problems, and they were notified by the landlord of the house they had lived in for years that he now wanted to sell the property.

And then things began to get even stranger. A secured clock in the house was seen to fly from the wall in front of witnesses. A neighbour reported seeing a ghostly shadow figure in the garden.

The new owners of the picture also reported seeing shadowy figures and even glimpses of outlines of disembodied legs as well as orbs showing up on pictures, accompanied by the strange banging and scratching sounds one would expect in a haunting.

You can hear Richard Felix and his thoughts on the haunting with Sharon and Stuart on Canalside Radio 102.8 FM after 10pm this Sunday 25th October and after 6.30am Monday the following day on their breakfast show.
