More than 50 local businesses and traders have already taken advantage of a free offer by Congleton Nub News to promote their businesses on the website.

As a way to support local businesses in these difficult and uncertain times we have introduced a free local listings service, detailing what services and businesses are available locally.

The move has been welcomed by those who have signed up, which includes a wide range of services, from chippy's to garages, from builders to an independent travel agent, from takeaway restaurants to hot tub specialists and carpenters to foot and lower limb specialists.

Congleton Nub News editor Tom Avery said: "I'm thrilled to have got more than fifty businesses on board, but we welcome many more.

"These are unprecedented trading times and we are doing our little bit to help local firms."

If you would like to sign up your business, just click on the Local Listing section on the page and follow the directions from the Nub It button.

We will check your details and your listing will be up live as soon as possible after submission and we will also be promoting the businesses who sign up on our social media platforms.
