Mark the date in your diary: Congleton Pride to return this summer

By Tom Avery

18th Apr 2021 | Local News

Congleton Pride are proud to announce that they will return to the town centre on Saturday, 21st August 2021.

Plans are already underway, in line with government guidelines. This comes after careful consideration to postpone the event from the intended 17th July 2021 date.

Congleton Pride's aim is to create a safe environment regardless of age, disability, gender identity, race, religion and sexual orientation - therefore the move of the date will allow all to be able to attend. Including those still currently classed as vulnerable.

Chair of Congleton Pride, Ronan Clayton, said: "This exciting news means pride will come back into Congleton."

Mr Clayton promised that the team was working hard to create an event full of stalls, entertainment, food and drink, plus much more to be announced.

For more information you can find Congleton Pride through all social media platforms and their website.
