Two local businesses are celebrating - after notching up gold medals at this year's RHS Flower Show Tatton Park.

And Congleton Community Gardeners were also at the show with their 'Bee Elizabeth'.

Harts Nursery in Brownlow near Sandbach and Plantagogo in Snape Lane, Englesea Brook near Alsager, both picked up gold at this year's show.

Harts won gold for their lilies at the show while Plantagogo won gold for their Heurcheras.

The show, set in the spectacular grounds of Tatton Park, opened on Wednesday (July 19th) and runs until Sunday (July 23rd).

It features a variety of displays and gardens including the Tatton Park Neighbourhood Nursery.

Visitors can stop by and share their views on how Tatton Park's Nursery Garden should be transformed, and take a peek at what the new nursery might look like.

The exhibit also showcases some of Cheshire's top nurseries, rose growers and herb specialists.

Practical gardening inspiration is at the core of this year's show and the 'pocket planting' displays are an example.

Each bed considers the right plants for different planting conditions, and shows what can be achieved in a small space.

Meanwhile the RHS Nocturnal Pollinator Experience is a wildlife haven aimed at attracting 'night shift' pollinators.

The space also draws attention to the impacts of light pollution on both human health and nocturnal pollinators.
