At Tarmac are currently recruiting for an experienced Quarry Manager to join and lead a friendly operations team at Tarmac Eaton Hall Sand and Gravel Quarry near Congleton.

Salary is 'competitive'.

You will:

  • be hands on
  • have good IT and communication skills
  • communicate with the team to keep projects smooth
  • have a diploma in Quarry Technology/FdSc Extractives Technology
  • SHE NVQ Level 4/QCF Level 6
  • be highly experienced in Quarrying Operations
  • IOSH/NEBOSH would be advantageous
  • have full knowledge of Risk Assessments and Safe System of Work Systems

Maintenance Engineer

A local company is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join the team on a full-time basis.

Salary will be £23 per hour.

You will:

  • be static on a large site in the CW12 area of Congleton
  • be responsible for Electrical, Mechanical and Building maintenance services
  • ensure all Planned Preventative Maintenance is completed to schedule Rectification of defects
  • ensure all performance standards are met in accordance with the contract
  • carry out routine maintenance
