House shut down by police amid reports of crime and drug abuse

A house has been shut down by police following reports of crime, disorder and drug abuse.
Officers in Congleton have secured a three-month closure order for a property on Bromley Road.
The occupant has been ordered to leave and anyone who attempts to enter the address will be committing a criminal offence and could be arrested.
PC Helen Weeks said: "We are dedicated to keeping this neighbourhood and its residents safe, so securing this closure with their help is fantastic news and I hope it encourages others to work with us to make their communities safer for everyone.
"I want to urge anyone with concerns about ASB or other criminality in their community to please contact local officers and we will do everything we can to address these issues and achieve justice."

The order, secured under the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 from Chester Magistrates' Court on Thursday (June 5), is a direct result of officers and Plus Dane Housing responding to the concerns of residents.
This included reports of drug activity, antisocial behaviour, threats of violence, and visitors all day and night, with sufficient evidence of these issues provided by neighbours.
The occupant was given ample opportunity to seek assistance from other agencies but failed to engage.
They have since been ordered to leave the property and find alternative accommodation.
All windows and doors have been secured for a period of three months.
Anyone with concerns about anti-social or suspicious behaviour in their area is asked to report it to Cheshire Police via the Cheshire Police website or call 101.
