Congleton Leisure Centre (CLC) is excited to be hosting its fantastic February Active Holidays programme for 8 to 13 year olds.

The Multi Activity Days provide a fun filled camp for children to come and relax, make friends and be active while school is out. This isn't only reassuring for Congleton parents, but fantastic for the wellbeing and development of the local youth in a safe environment.

Keith Rogers Youth Participation and Talent Lead at Everybody Health and Leisure said: "Although our Multi Activity Days are structured, we pride ourselves in offering a variety of activities, ensuring children and young people are always engaged. In some instances children even get to choose some of the activities."

Children start the day with an energiser session, a fun session designed to engage the brain and get the body moving. The rest of the morning involves a range of multi-sport activities including hockey, football, benchball, dodgeball before going into the swimming pool for lots of fun.

After lunch, they get ready for even more games and activities.

Keith Rogers continued: "We are busy preparing in advance for this February half term with loads of activities lined up, favourites like benchball, swimming and dodgeball and even the inflatable dartboard which the children love! Every day is different as the children get to choose some of the activities during the week, the focus is on having fun and ensuring everyone is involved.

"Our Multi Activity Days provide a safe environment for children and young people aged 8 to 13 years to come and relax, make friends and be active during the holiday period. Helping children and young people to build confidence and self-esteem while improving social skills, co-ordination and fitness levels. Bookings can be made online and we look forward to seeing you very soon!"
