This April, Congleton residents can join 'A Feast of Flowers' walk and talk to learn more about local flowers blossoming in and around the local area.

Enjoy a morning stroll along the Biddulph Valley Way and through Dane-in-Shaw Pasture Site of Special Scientific Interest looking for spring wildflowers and chatting about some of their uses and folklore.

The event will be run by Cheshire East Council Countryside Ranger, Carolyn Sherratt, who is knowledgeable about the local area and wildlife, and looks forward to welcoming you.

The walk will begin at 10am, and is scheduled to wind up at approximately 1pm, giving you plenty of time to learn and enjoy an easy-moderate stroll.

Children are welcome although they must be accompanied by an adult. Attendees should wear suitable footwear and clothing and bring water.

Booking in advance is essential, although the event is free.
