Firefighters dealt with a vehicle blaze in Congleton earlier today (Wednesday).

The incident took place on Moor Street at 10:44 this morning, with one fire engine from Congleton attending the scene.

Firefighters were called to a fire involving a car at a car park on the street.

Crews wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to put out the fire which was in the engine.

Cylinders were also isolated and crews remained on scene to check the temperature of the vehicle to ensure it didn't reignite.
