Emergency services help rescue two people from cherry picker in Eaton

Firefighters were called to Eaton following reports of two males becoming stuck in a cherry picker after it lost power.

Two fire engines from Congleton and Lymm attended Macclesfield Road, Eaton, just after 3pm yesterday (Sunday) along with the line rescue unit from Lymm and aerial appliance from Macclesfield.

The crews rescued the two people by using the aerial appliance and line rescue equipment.

North West Ambulance Service and Cheshire Constabulary were also in attendance.

The crews were in attendance for around one hour and 40 minutes.
