Congleton Town Mayor, Cllr Rob Moreton, and Mayoress Helen Moreton extend a cordial invitation to the community for the upcoming Town Mayor's Charity Ball. This exclusive event is scheduled to take place on Friday 26 April at 7pm in the historic Town Hall.

The evening promises an enjoyable atmosphere, guests will be treated to a delicious three-course meal, live entertainment, and a chance to win some exciting prizes through a charity raffle.

All proceeds from the event will be dedicated to supporting the mayor's chosen charities - Visyon and Vale Juniors Kickabout, contributing to vital community initiatives.

Visyon has been supporting the emotional health of children, young people and their families in the Cheshire and Staffordshire moorlands areas since 1994.

Vale Juniors Kickabout is a one hour weekly session that is available to children in school years 4, 5 and 6 that are not currently registered for a club or training with a team.

A limited number of Charity Ball tickets are available to members of the public at £40pp from the Congleton Information Centre.

Cllr Moreton said: "As Mayor of Congleton, I am honoured to invite civic dignitaries, town councillors, local groups, businesses and fellow Congletonians to join us at the Charity Ball. It promises to be a fantastic event that not only brings joy and celebration but also contributes to the causes dear to my heart. Following a delightful meal, the night will transform into a dance-filled extravaganza with the 'Sound Party' playing iconic hits from the 80s and 90s. I might even throw some moves on the dancefloor!

"Join me in making the evening a memorable one, and lets together celebrate the spirit of giving that defines our wonderful town. Everyone is warmly welcomed to be part of the special occasion. Local businesses unable to attend can still demonstrate their generosity by contributing a raffle prize or offering sponsorship. I would like to thank anyone in advance who supports the ball, your contribution will help to make a significant difference to the charities we're raising funds for."
