Congleton is to get its first bus service on Good Friday for over four years this Easter.

Local service provider, D&G, have confirmed that the 94 bus will operate a Saturday timetable on Good Friday.

This means that the Congleton - Biddulph - Newcastle service will operate every 90 minutes.

For Congleton, the 38 and 42 will only operate on Easter Saturday with all other services not operating between 29 March and 1 April.

Easter 2024 Service Arrangements

Good Friday, 29 March

A Saturday service will operate on routes 1, 1A, 5, 9, 16, 32A, 32X, 94, 95, 100, 108 and X41. A Sunday service will operate on routes 24 and 84X. No other services will operate.

Easter Saturday, 30 March

Normal Saturday services will operate.

Easter Sunday, 31 March

Normal Sunday services will operate. 

Easter Monday, 1 April

A Sunday service will operate. Routes that don't normally run on a Sunday will not operate, except service 100 which will run to a Saturday timetable.
