Congleton: Police officers discover 350-cannabis plant farm

Almost 350 cannabis plants at the early stages of growth were found at a recently set up cannabis farm in Congleton today.

Police officers have been dismantling the house they raided in Cross Street.

A Congleton Police spokesperson said: "After seizing the plants and the equipment used to grow the class B drug.

"Our attentions now turn to establishing who turned one of the rooms in the house into a cannabis farm and making them face the consequences of their actions."

No further information has been released about any arrests.
