You can agree or disagree on many operations of Cheshire East Council, but one thing we can perhaps all agree on is our area's parks.
Many of us use them daily, and barring parking, parks are free to use.
And this week, it has been announced which local parks has been recognised as the best.
The Green Flag Award scheme recognises and rewards the best-managed parks and green spaces.
And Cheshire East Council has confirmed that Congleton Park was retained Green Flag status for the 17th year in a row.
11 parks across Cheshire East received a Green Flag, including the Brereton Heath Local Nature Reserve near Congleton.
One visitor to Brereton Heath Local Nature Reserve commented: "Very nice walk around the lake with woodland. A good place to do mindful walking with benches to sit and enjoy your surroundings."
"A little piece of heaven," said another.
Furthermore, Congleton Park is just one of three Cheshire East parks to retain Green Heritage Status, a separate award recognising the preservation of the Victorian-era park's history.
Councillor Dawn Clark, vice chair of Cheshire East Council's environment and communities committee, said: "We're very proud of our record of retaining our Green Flags across the borough and my sincere thanks go to all the wonderful officers and volunteers who play such a vital role in the upkeep of these sites.
"However, what is even more pleasing is hearing from the many residents who benefit from these beautiful outdoor spaces, and I actively encourage everyone to continue to embrace the great outdoors and enjoy them as often as possible."
