Congleton Library Events

Congleton Library has plenty of events lined up for the remaining of the month.

Here is a list of the upcoming events:

· Crafternoon Tea. Tuesday 17th March, 2pm - 3.30pm. Come along and craft with us! Tea and coffee available. Chat and relax whilst creating this month's craft. Free to attend (donations welcome). No need to book in advance. All welcome!

· Board Games. Every Wednesday beginning 18th March, 2pm - 4pm. Join us upstairs in the main library on Wednesday afternoons. Meet new people and play board games: chess, Scrabble, card games, draughts and more. Free to attend. Refreshments available.

· U3A Poetry and Performance. Saturday March 21st, 11am onwards. Poetry performance upstairs in the main library. Refreshments available. Free to attend, but donations towards refreshments welcome.

· Story and Tea. Monday 23rd March, 2pm - 3pm. Free to attend. Join us upstairs in the main library. Relax & enjoy a cup of tea whilst listening to a short story being read aloud.

· Nether Alderley Mill Talk. Thursday 26th March, 2.30pm - 4pm. Hear about the history of this unique water mill, and learn about how we turn high quality organic wheat into stone-ground wholemeal flour for sale. Free to attend. Donations to the mill kindly accepted.

In addition:

· StoryTime is every Tuesday, from 10.30am until 11am. Suitable for preschool aged children. Free to attend and no need to book.

· Rhymetime is every Thursday, from 10.30am until 11am. Suitable for preschool aged children. Free to attend and no need to book.

· Lego Club is every Thursday, 3.30pm until 5pm. Free to attend.

· We also have a meeting room for hire at £20 per hour (discounted for 6 bookings or more made in one time).

This room can seat 80, has accessible toilet facilities and access to a small kitchenette. The room is suitable for a range of events, including coffee mornings and meetings.
