Fundraisers from Everybody's aquatics team are getting reading to put their best feet forward tomorrow (Saturday) to help boost funds for their charity.
Danni Murphy and Sam Pickford, who both live in Alsager, and Nicole Miller, who lives in Congleton, and other staff are walking 52 miles between all the Everybody sites in Cheshire East with swimming pools.
The walkers are starting at Knutsford leisure centre at 4am tomorrow (Saturday) and will finish the walk at Nantwich hopefully before 12pm.
Their route covers Wilmslow, Poynton, Macclesfield, Congleton, Alsager, Sandbach, Crewe and Nantwich and includes .
The team will cover the distance of two marathons – 52 miles and will be walking continuously with only short breaks at each stop.
They are raising money for the 'Everybody Foundation' which allows clubs in Cheshire East to apply for a small grant to be used either for the club or on behalf of a young person who is at risk of dropping out leisure activities.
The small grants can be used to help pay for club subscriptions, cover travel costs, essential kit, subs and equipment needed to continue participating.
A spokesperson from the aquatics team said: "We are passionate about providing a healthy and active lifestyle for all.
"We are extremely grateful to all of our fundraisers and supporters in helping us to do this. "
The group has set up a JustGiving page here for people to make donations.
Nub News wishes all the walkers the best of luck tomorrow (June 24th).
