Cong Bear Opens Congleton Town Centre for Business

Cong Bear came out of hibernation, just as lockdown was lifted for non-essential businesses.

The town's eco icon bear was on hand to greet the public and show support for shops and business owners and he even brought a new bear friend with him.

It was the first appearance from Cong Bear since his "smash hit" radio pantomime which was transmitted on Canalside Radio 102.8FM over Christmas and New Year.

Members of the public certainly seemed to be pleased to see the bear who put the bear into Beartown from a series of books published in 2019, out and about on his travels.
