You don't generally associate a 'bikers breakfast' with losing weight, but that's exactly what Jeff from Mow Cop has done and lost an incredible three stone 11Lb's.

Jeff Roll who is a member of the Kidsgrove Slimming World group, has lost a life changing amount of weight, whilst still enjoying lots of different foods and his bikers breakfast every Sunday during his weekly ride out.

Jeff joined the group in January and has attended weekly, staying for group every week to get the motivation and support which is offered.

Jeff says he feels 'amazing and it has given me a real boost with my health, Its definitely helping with my long term ankle and knee problems, plus my breathlessness and I am now going to swimming pool roughly four times per week, which I would have never done before, I feel more confident in myself'.

Jeff decided to join his local Slimming World group following a call from Everyone Heath offering the 12 weeks free referral scheme. Jeff has never done anything like this before and understandably was very nervous, but he embraced the small changes and this has made a massive difference to his life.

Jeff has achieved both the Slimmer of the Week and Slimmer of the Month, he was over the moon his confidence has grows week after week.

Jeff followed Slimming World's Food Optimising eating plan and swapped take aways and fast food for new healthy favourites.

Jeff says he has learned to make basic changes to the food he makes and has never felt deprived or on a 'diet'.

Jeff also believes that the group environment helps with ideas, along with the Facebook group which the members use to share ideas, support and encouragement for each other.

The Butt Lane group in Kidsgrove, is held every Friday morning at 8am or 9.30am and Tuesdays 5.30pm or 7pm, at Butt Lane Community Centre on Lower Ash Road, ST7 1DX. To find out more give Chloe a call on 07496101424.
