A circus is eyeing up national success after scooping a regional award.
Circus Starr, a Congleton-based charity that brings entertainment to children with disabilities, are celebrating after picking up the prize for Accessibility and Inclusion at this year's Visit Cheshire Tourism Awards.
They are now looking to go one further as they represent the area in the VisitEngland Awards this summer.
Not only that, Circus Starr have also been nominated for a Scope Award, a national accolade recognising those who seek to down barriers for inclusivity and accessibility for all.
Trustee Michelle Crossley said: "We strive to constantly adapt and improve our shows so just to be recognised for these awards is an incredible achievement for everyone here at Circus Starr.
"We were obviously thrilled to win at the Visit Cheshire awards and we're hoping for success at the Scope Awards at the end of the month.
"It's not only good news for us, but also for the amazing businesses and supporters who help us put on our shows for tens of thousands of families every year."

Established for almost 40 years, Circus Starr specialise in events designed specifically for children and young adults with additional needs and disabilities and they bring their 'relaxed' and inclusive shows to 74 towns and cities across the UK.
The shows feature circus-based performance with reduced volume and special attention paid to sensory triggers.
Children and their families attend the shows for free, thanks to the charity's fundraising and partnerships with local businesses and organisations.
Representatives from Circus Starr will be in attendance at the Scope Awards ceremony, which takes place at London's Kia Oval on Thursday, April 30.
