Congleton: Another 13-year-old arrested after 'serious assault'

An eighth teenager has been arrested after the February 11 assault of a 51-year-old male.

Cheshire Police confirmed this morning that another boy had been arrested, aged just 13.

In a statement they said: "A 13-year-old boy was arrested yesterday afternoon February 22 and has since been released on conditional bail pending further enquiries - making the total eight."

No charges have been made as of yet, for the Congleton Bus Station crime.

Among the arrested is another 13-year-old boy, as well as three boys aged 15, 17, 18 and three girls aged 14, 15 and 16.
