OTHER

Congleton Museum focuses on the history of Congleton, with particular emphasis on prehistory, the Civil War, the Industrial Age and World War Two.

An ancient log boat, cannonballs from the civil war and the town stocks – just some of the things you can see at Congleton Museum.

We are situated on Market Street, behind the Town Hall.

We have a full programme of events including walks, talks, school visits and exhibitions. Congleton Museum is a free entry museum.

We rely on the generosity of visitors and members with their donations and small grants to keep the museum running.
