Police urge Congleton residents not to fall foul of Courier Fraud

Police officers have confirmed that they have recently seen Courier Fraud take place in Congleton.

Congleton Police stated that it related to residents pretending to be part of Cheshire Police.

A Congleton Police spokesperson said: "Cheshire Police will never ask you to transfer money from your account or provide bank details.

"Please report any similar activity to Action Fraud."
