SEN Autism Teaching Assistant - Congleton

What happens at school can change a child's life. Could you change the future, by supporting children with a primary SEN diagnosis of Autism to engage with education?

Do you have experience of supporting pupils ASD and comorbid conditions such as ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, emotional and behavioural difficulties, and mental health needs?

You'll be kept busy, working with pupils aged 5-19 with a wide range of learning difficulties and disabilities.

Your day will be varied, supporting children in the classroom to manage their own behaviour, engage with tasks set by the class teacher, and reach their potential.

You'll take initiative, be resilient, and drive pupils to achieve and progress. You'll work on learning activities, promote confidence, and encourage pupils to act independently to succeed. You'll also be responsible for the personal care of some pupils.

Accountancy Practice - Congleton - Accounts Semi Senior - Study Support

Your new firm

You will be joining a modern and highly regarded accountancy practice who are based in the heart of Congleton town centre.

The firm are a general practice who offer a range of services to their extensive client base inclusive of Accounting, Tax and Bookkeeping.

Following an acquisition and a period of sustained growth they are now looking to appoint a Semi Senior to their busy team.

Your new role

As a Semi Senior, you will be required to work with limited companies, sole traders and partnerships, preparing year end accounts whilst working closely with clients.

You will be responsible for taking accounts from trial balance through to submission stage, working with Bookkeepers and reviewing junior members of staff's work.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to undertake this role you will have at least two years experience working within practice and ideally be AAT qualified.

You should be up to date on the latest legislation in regards to tax and must be able to communicate effectively as you will be working within a client facing position.

You should be a competent user of various IT systems and be able to pick up new ways of working quickly and with relative ease.
