The committee of Congleton Lawn Tennis Club have decided that as a club they will nominate and support a local charity each year.

Visyon have been nominated for the 2021-2022 season. They are a local mental health charity that supports local children and young people when they need it most.

The club have also nominated new member Geoff Petts as charity ambassador for the club, as Geoff has a long history and great experience of working in fundraising and with various charities.

The club will shortly have a poster and collection tin in the clubhouse and plan to do a number of events throughout the year to raise funds for the club and for their chosen charity.

In the meantime, Visyon have just launched a running/walking challenge that club members or other residents in Congleton may like to take part in during the month of July.
