Be part of Congleton's lockdown history - Co-op are creating a book for you to feature in

The Co-op is producing both an e-book and physical book chronicling Congleton’s journey through lockdown - and they want YOU to be included.

This is your chance to be a permanent part of Congleton history.

The Co-op wants to hear about your Lockdown experiences over the last few months.

Share your photos, stories, poems or drawings with them here - Life in Lockdown, no story is too big or small.

Stories will be selected at random to feature in an e-book and hard copy that will be available at the end of August 2020.

Some will be randomly picked to feature on a tea towel design which will be available to pick up in the Co-op’s Congleton Bromley Road store following a donation to Mind.

Maybe you used lockdown to raise money for a cause, helped produce PPE, went the extra mile to help the vulnerable and elderly, volunteered for your local sports club or did charity work.

Perhaps you’re a school who embraced lockdown and found inventive ways to stay in touch with your pupils online.

Or maybe you found a hidden talent? You might have learnt to play a musical instrument or become a dab hand at cookery.

And remember those socially distanced VE Day75 celebrations? May 8th still managed to create unforgettable memories in streets all across the town in spite of the Coronavirus restrictions.

You will need to fill in the Co-op entry form which can found on the ‘Life in Lockdown' section of the Congleton Co-op Community Noticeboard.

The entry form closes at 23:59 on July 20th 2020.
