Another great event at Congleton Lawn Tennis Club

Even dedicated athletes like to relax and kick back with a good glass of wine (or six) occasionally. So it was on Friday evening that Congleton Lawn Tennis Club members got the chance to take part in the second CLTC Wine Tasting.

It was an excellent night. Three reds and three whites expertly presented by Samantha and Robert from Laithwaites Wine in Alderley Edge accompanied by six equally sensational cheeses, with tasting notes, and meats sourced from Waitrose.

Lots of people worked hard to make the event a great success but special mentions to Eileen Grigg for organising, Lindsay Newton for preparing all the food and Cheese-procurer-in-chief Ray Masson for ensuring nobody went hungry.

Following on from the quiz night and recent beer and tennis event it is clear that the club is putting oil plenty of events for its members and this will continue into 2022.

You can follow the club on Facebook or their webpage.
